Quality Tall Fescue
We’ve designed Quality Tall Fescue for those customers that want to have an easy lawn to take care of. In the southern climates it is a blend of older varieties of tall fescue which are coarser in texture then other fescues and lighter green in color as well as noninvasive. Quality Tall fescue can be mowed with a rotary mower with a 2” height. This mix will require a higher amount of water than other mixes.

Quality Plus
Quality Plus is an amazing new solution with a remarkable seed mix that is easy to maintain, has a beautiful color and will actually repair itself. Perfect for a tough, drought-type climate. Also, it’s remarkable how much of an advantage this lawn has when working with the demanding wear and tear of home lawns with dogs and children. This mix will offer reparability, fast germination, strip ability and it will grow about 25-30” in/yr. Quality Plus is 90% triple Dwarf Fescue with 10% Kentucky bluegrass mixed in. The bluegrass helps repair damaged areas faster then the Dwarf Fescue. Quality Plus can be mowed with a rotary mower, to as low as 1 1/2”, but ideally should be mowed to a 2” height.

Quality Tifgreen Bermuda
Quality Tifgreen Hybrid Bermuda is a specialty turf. It can be used for high traffic areas. Quality Tifgreen Hybrid Bermuda will stand up to dogs and other high traffic areas. It goes dormant in the cold months (two to four months). Can also be used as a putting green if kept at ¼” to ½”. Is very drought tolerant and has a deep root system. Quality Tifgreen Hybrid Bermuda should be mowed with a reel mower at a ½” to ¾” height.
Ballfield Mixes
If you need extra durability or a large area filled, you have options. Ballfield has two custom mixed. Each unique to its application, and will stand up to the punishment of heavy traffic in public parks, schools, athletic fields, playgrounds and general public access areas. Each mix works well in all types of soils and climates. Ballfield sod requires less maintenance, a moderate mowing height and will resist disease better then other grasses. It’s also tough enough to withstand cold as well as hot environments. Depending on the Ballfield mix you select it could remain green all year round.

BallField Mix 2A is Quality Tifgreen Hybrid Bermuda over seeded with a quality perennial rye grass seed. Primarily used for athletic fields and high traffic areas. The cool season grass (perennial rye) helps in keeping the Quality Tifgreen Hybrid Bermudas root system in tact during its dormant period. But in the warmer season both grasses work together. Should be mowed with a reel mower. Mowing heights will vary due to its wide variety of uses, but no less than 3/4”.
BallField Mix 3A is Quality Tifgreen Hybrid Bermuda over seeded with quality perennial rye seed and Kentucky Blue grass seed. Primarily used for athletic fields and high traffic areas.
